Tunto Curve - 1720 mm - Black / Black Pendant

The Tunto Curve Pendant Lamp brings together soft, sculptural form and precise, comfortable light. Designed by Mikko Kärkkäinen in Finland, this 1720 mm version features a gracefully rounded silhouette crafted from solid wood, finished in black with a matching black canopy for a sleek, understated presence above any table or seating area. Its integrated optics are engineered for low-glare illumination, ensuring a pleasant and balanced light distribution throughout the space.

This model is equipped with a 2700 K, 3000 K or 4000 K LED light source paired with lens optics, delivering crisp, functional brightness with excellent color rendering (Ra = 93). The LED offers an impressive lifespan of 50,000 hours, combining longevity with energy efficiency. Light control is handled through the optional Casambi (Bluetooth) system, a wireless 2-wire solution requiring only active and neutral wires at the ceiling outlet. Dimming is continuous and smooth, and the lamp can be operated externally via the Tunto EnOcean switch, a smartphone, or a tablet—offering flexible, cable-free control.

Built for indoor use, the Curve Pendant Lamp carries an IP20 safety rating and Class II protection, with installation to be carried out by qualified personnel. The suspension height is adjustable up to 2 meters, and both the suspension and power cables can be shortened to suit your space. As a natural material, the wood may show subtle variations in grain and tone, and its hue may evolve gracefully over time—an organic character best preserved through gentle, regular dusting with a soft, dry cloth.

Available options
Colour temperature: 2700 K, 3000 K or 4000 K · Optic: microprism, honeycomb or lenses · Control: DALI – Push Dim or Casambi (Bluetooth).

Which optic should I choose?
Microprism — diffuses the light for the softest, lowest-glare result; the usual choice above desks and workstations.
Honeycomb — shields the LED so the fitting reads dark from normal viewing angles, with tighter beam control; suits open-plan offices and hospitality.
Lenses — the most directional option, giving crisp, focused light; ideal over dining tables and kitchen islands.
