Tunto Curve - 1440 mm - Oak / Black Pendant

The Tunto Curve Pendant Lamp brings together soft, sculptural form and precision-engineered lighting. Designed by Mikko Kärkkäinen and crafted in Finland, this piece redefines linear pendant design with its gracefully rounded silhouette, offering both visual harmony and refined, low-glare illumination for any interior setting.

This version measures 1440 mm in length and is crafted from solid oak wood with a black finish, showcasing the natural beauty and subtle variation inherent to genuine wood materials. The wood profile measures W.40 x H.60 mm, complemented by a slim canopy (H.35 x W.220 x D.110 mm) that houses the connection point for a clean, integrated look. Suspension height is adjustable up to 2 meters, with a 3-meter power cable that can be shortened during installation.

At the heart of the Curve lies an advanced LED module delivering a warm 2700 K, 3000 K or 4000 K color temperature and excellent color rendering (Ra = 93), paired with lens optics engineered to minimize glare while maximizing visual comfort. The fixture is fully compatible with optional Casambi (Bluetooth) control, enabling smooth, continuous dimming via smartphone, tablet, or the Tunto EnOcean wireless switch, without the need for additional wiring beyond active and neutral connections.

With an LED lifespan of 50,000 hours, IP20 safety rating, and CE certification, this pendant is built for lasting indoor performance. Installation should be carried out by qualified personnel to ensure proper setup and long-term reliability.

Which optic should I choose?
Microprism — diffuses the light for the softest, lowest-glare result; the usual choice above desks and workstations.
Honeycomb — shields the LED so the fitting reads dark from normal viewing angles, with tighter beam control; suits open-plan offices and hospitality.
Lenses — the most directional option, giving crisp, focused light; ideal over dining tables and kitchen islands.
