&Tradition Pinwheel Coffee Table HM7

The Pinwheel Coffee Table HM7 is a striking study in Danish modernism, originally conceived by Hvidt & Mølgaard and thoughtfully reissued by &Tradition for a new generation of interiors. Its defining feature is the sculptural top, composed of interlocking segments that appear to rotate around a central axis, creating a dynamic silhouette that reads as much like a design object as a functional table.

Resting on slender stainless steel legs, the tabletop seems to float above the floor, lending the piece a sense of lightness despite its solid presence. This contrast between the substantial wooden top and the fine metal base is a hallmark of mid-century Scandinavian design, balancing craftsmanship with restraint.

This version features an oiled walnut top, showcasing rich, warm tones and a natural finish that highlights the wood's grain and depth. For those drawn to a lighter palette, the table is also available in oiled oak, allowing the piece to adapt to a variety of interior schemes.

With dimensions of 65 cm in length, 65 cm in width, and 43 cm in height, the Pinwheel Coffee Table HM7 is proportioned to serve as a central gathering point in a living room or lounge setting, pairing comfortably with sofas and armchairs alike.

A true design classic reborn, this table brings the enduring legacy of Hvidt & Mølgaard into contemporary homes, offering both sculptural interest and everyday practicality in equal measure.
