Serax FCK Teapot 1

Meet the Teapot 1 FCK, a striking piece from the FCK tableware collection by French artist Frédérick Gautier, created in collaboration with Serax. Born from an instant creative connection between Gautier and the brand, this teapot is part of the artist's project 'FCK – Op Beton T x 100', an exploration of raw materials and brutalist design language. Its sculptural, industrial silhouette pays homage to architecture, most notably the work of Le Corbusier, and to the elemental materials that have shaped human civilization.

Crafted from a blend of stoneware and cement, the teapot is made in Portugal by skilled artisans using a rare gray clay sourced by Gautier in France, chosen specifically to achieve the raw, concrete-like tone that defines his 'céramique de béton'. The piece is finished with a glazed surface, giving it a refined touch while preserving its rugged, tactile character. As many Serax pieces are finished by hand, slight irregularities may occur, a natural mark of authenticity that makes each teapot unique.

Practical as it is expressive, this teapot measures 21.5 x 18 x 15 cm, weighs 1.3 kg, and holds a generous 80 cl capacity. It is dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe up to 250°C, and fully food-safe, making it as suited to daily use as to display.
