Santa & Cole Diana Table Lamp

In 1995, eminent architects Federico Correa, Alfonso Milá, and Miguel Milá created the Santa & Cole Diana Table Lamp. They were assigned to work on the lighting of the office of Barcelona Mayor Pasqual Maragall. He successfully handled the city’s proposal for the 1992 Olympics. So, the office décor was to be renovated, to portray the high standard of Barcelona design to the world. Santa & Cole produced the lamps, named after the mayor’s wife.

Santa & Cole Diana Table Lamp has a contemporary design. It has a slender metal shaft with brass or nickel finish. The lampshade is a cone-shaped (truncated) and made of white or black linen. Two bulbs are placed opposite to one another, to provide adequate illumination in all directions, without throwing shadows on the shade. An upper diffuser made of a translucent white parchment or a stone parchment is present, for energy-saving options like LEDs and fluorescent bulbs. The wide metal base has brass or nickel finish. The lamp has several variants based on combinations of size – Diana menor or Diana, metal finish – nickel or brass, shade color – black or white, and upper diffuser disk – white or stone parchment. A variety of options are available to suit any interior décor and space.
