Piet Hein Eek Standing Wirelamp in Tie Silk Small

The Piet Hein Eek Standing Wirelamp in Tie Silk Small represents a distinctive fusion of industrial design and refined textile craftsmanship. This standing lamp showcases the designer's signature approach to creating functional art pieces that challenge conventional lighting aesthetics.

Constructed with a minimalist aluminum frame, this wirelamp is thoughtfully upholstered with luxurious Italian tie silk, creating an intriguing contrast between structural simplicity and material elegance. The delicate silk fabric wraps around the wire framework, diffusing light in a warm, inviting manner while adding a layer of visual sophistication to any interior space.

Measuring 66 cm in height with a diameter of 36.5 cm, the small format makes this piece versatile for various room settings, from living areas to bedrooms or creative studios. The lamp operates at 25W-230V, providing efficient illumination while maintaining a gentle ambiance.

This is notably the very last wire lamp in this collection, making it a particularly special acquisition for design enthusiasts and collectors. Each piece carries the hallmark of Piet Hein Eek's commitment to sustainable design practices and meticulous craftsmanship, combining reclaimed and premium materials in unexpected ways.

The Standing Wirelamp in Tie Silk Small stands as a testament to thoughtful design that transcends mere functionality, offering a sculptural element that enhances interior environments with both light and artistic presence.
