Piet Hein Eek Handmade Lampshade with Brass Base

The Piet Hein Eek Handmade Lampshade with Brass Base 03 represents a harmonious collaboration between two distinct creative visions. The handcrafted lampshade is meticulously created by Peter Mertens, a skilled artisan who divides his time between France and the Netherlands, while the elegant brass base is designed by the renowned Piet Hein Eek studio.

Each lamp is entirely unique, with Peter Mertens occasionally incorporating vintage tie fabrics into his designs, ensuring that no two pieces are identical. This commitment to handmade craftsmanship means that every lampshade carries its own character and subtle variations, making it a truly one-of-a-kind addition to any interior space.

The lamp features generous proportions, with a diameter of approximately 32 centimeters and a height ranging between 45 and 55 centimeters. These dimensions make it a striking statement piece that commands attention while maintaining a balanced presence in various room settings.

The combination of the handcrafted fabric shade and the refined brass base creates a sophisticated aesthetic that bridges contemporary design with artisanal tradition. The brass element adds warmth and durability, while the handmade shade introduces texture and visual interest. This lamp is ideal for those who appreciate the value of bespoke design and the subtle imperfections that define authentic handcrafted objects.

Available in multiple design options, this piece offers flexibility for different aesthetic preferences while maintaining the exceptional quality and individuality that defines Piet Hein Eek's design philosophy.
