Vertigo story

Vertigo is a timeless and fascinating lamp. The French designer Constance Guisset describes her lamp as a den-lamp: "It wraps around you, reducing space to an intimate athmosphere."

The ultra-light fibreflass structure, stretched with velvelty polyurethane ribbons is bound to fascinate. When an air current passes through the weightless lamp slowly moves and turns and creates engaging patterns and shadows on the walls. The Vertigo creates its own intimate ambience adapting to both large and small spaces. It's graphic and ethereal look create's an exiting design.

Brand & Designer

Petite Friture is a design manufacturer created in 2009 by Amélie du Passage. Their prime vision was and still is the will to promote young talents, and to develop them with a catalogue of objects, lighting and small furniture. Now they have grown to become an established design company with a collection of compelling objects and designers. Petite Friture creates products that understand our daily life and invite us to savour it. The objects tell us a story and come forward with a simple and accessible presence.

Constance Guisset

Born in 1976, Constance Guisset lives and works in Paris. Constance Guisset is a French designer with an original story. After studying economics and business at ESSEC and IEP in Paris, followed by a year in the parliament in Tokyo she chose to focus on design. In 2007 she graduated from ENSCI - Les Ateliers and founded her studio.

She quickly earned recognition through winning prizes such as the Grand Prix du Design de la ville de Paris in 2008, the public prize at the Design Parade in Villa Noailles 2009, and finally in 2010 both the designer of the year at Maison et Objet, and the Audi Talent Awards. Her different research paths have led her to work with Petite Friture, Fontana Arte and Molenti amongst others for product design. In addition she has worked with Angelin Preljocaj, Established & Sons and Galeries Lafayette notably working with the latter on scenography, and has worked with video for Le Musee des Arts decoratif and the design Biennale in Saint-Etienne.
