Marset The W Pendant Lamp

The W by PerezOchando is a striking large-format pendant lamp designed for spaces that call for adaptable, sculptural lighting. Its design centers on a bold black vertical structure from which fourteen rods extend, each one adjustable to move upwards to expand the light or downwards to concentrate it. This flexible configuration allows the fixture to open to a diameter of up to 2 metres for broad ambient illumination, or fold down to 1.2 metres to focus light on a smaller area, making it equally suited to sweeping interiors and more intimate settings.

Every rod carries a suspended cylindrical spotlight that directs light downward in a sharp, even beam. Inside each spotlight sits a coloured ring available in Ivory, Terracotta, or Gold, each finish lending its own subtle chromatic reflection to the overall glow. The design draws inspiration from the form of a traditional winding machine, valued here not for its function but for its graphic silhouette, translating vertical movement into a striking horizontal presence.

Despite its scale and adjustability, The W remains sober and functional in character, offering what its designers describe as the sensation of standing beneath a dome of light when fully unfolded. Whatever configuration is chosen, the fixture consistently delivers exceptional, uniform ambient lighting.

For added versatility, The W is offered with a choice of Triac or DALI dimming control, allowing it to integrate seamlessly into a variety of lighting systems and design schemes, from hospitality and office environments to expansive residential interiors.
