Marset Milana Counterweight Pendant

Milana is a modular pendant lamp system designed by Jaume Ramírez for Marset, built around a simple yet radical idea: giving users control over the position of light itself. Reduced to its essence, the design starts with a slender cylindrical body housing a built-in LED, concealed behind an almost imperceptible lens that distributes the light evenly. To this minimal form, conical shades can be added in different sizes, allowing the light to spread outward and softly illuminate the lamp itself, while the bare cylinder alone delivers a clean, precise downward beam.

What sets Milana apart is its ingenious counterweight mechanism: when suspended between two points, each lamp can be freely moved both vertically and horizontally, letting you reshape your lighting composition at will. This flexibility transforms Milana from a fixed fixture into an adaptable lighting system, ideal for creating dynamic, personalized arrangements above tables, kitchen islands, or open living spaces.

The Milana pendant is available in three sizes — Ø 21 cm, Ø 32 cm and Ø 47 cm — and in two colours, off-white and black, allowing the shades to be mixed, matched or combined according to the desired atmosphere and scale of the space.
