The Lasvit Yakisugi Pendant was designed by a renowned Japanese architect. Inspired by the ancient Japanese technique. Known in Japan as Shou-Sugi-Ban or Yakisugi, it was a technique that preserved charring wood to preserve construction timber without the need of painting or sealing. The process was adapted for centuries-old glass. This gave birth to the hand-blown glass and was created into the procedure for the Lasvit Yakisugi Pendant.
The Lasvit Yakisugi Pendant is available in small or large. The smaller version is 300 mm in height, 90 mm in width and 90 mm is length and weighs 3 kg in total. The bigger version is 500 mm in height, 120 mm in width, and 120 mm in length and weighs 5 kg in total.
