Gubi Totto Stool

The Totto Stool by GamFratesi reinterprets the timeless three-legged stool through softened proportions, tactile detailing, and refined simplicity. Rounded edges, a tray-like seat surface, and solid turned wooden legs come together in an object that moves naturally between stool, side table, and sculptural presence, all while preserving the stability of the traditional archetype it draws upon.

Crafted entirely from FSC-certified Sapelli wood and wood from other responsible sources, Totto is a compact design that balances warmth with intuitive functionality. The stool is available in Lacquered Sapelli and Dark Stained Lacquered Sapelli, both finishes chosen to highlight the individuality of the wood. Natural variations in grain, tone, and texture ensure that each piece carries its own distinct expression, allowing the material's authenticity to come through and giving the stool an understated, tactile presence in contemporary interiors.

Designed by GamFratesi, the Copenhagen-based studio founded by Danish architect Stine Gam and Italian architect Enrico Fratesi, Totto reflects the studio's characteristic dialogue between Danish and international design traditions. The result is a piece that feels both grounded and refined, equally at home as a functional seat or as a quiet sculptural accent within a room.

Part of GUBI's Stools & Bar Chairs collection, the Totto Stool brings a sense of craftsmanship and material honesty to any setting, gaining character and depth the more it is used.
