The inspiration for the design of the Semi Suspended came from circular shapes. Bonderup and Thorup experimented with two semi-circular caricatures to come up with the final design of the Semi Pendant. The aesthetic of this lamp resembles that of an arch and coupled with its enameled metal shade, this lighting fixture embraces a timeless beauty that is appreciated by everyone even today.
The pragmatics and lighting throw of the Semi Pendant lamp are exemplary as is its unique appearance. Its intra-archer, tapered physique casts a concentrated diffused light that would look absolutely gorgeous illuminating a dining table, breakfast buffet or even a kitchen island.
