Frama Stool 01

Frama Stool 01 in Warm Brown Birch, H76, brings a quiet sense of history to any interior. Its straightforward silhouette draws inspiration from seating found in Nordic auditoriums and churches since the 1800s, echoing the understated evolution of Danish design. Crafted from Baltic birch, this stool is well suited to kitchen counters and bar spaces, offering a versatile height that adapts easily to contemporary living. In homage to traditional production methods, its joints are intentionally left exposed, celebrating honest craftsmanship over concealment.

The piece is built from a solid birch frame with a birch plywood seat, finished with a warm brown lacquer that lets the natural wood grain remain visible. Measuring H 76 / W 38.7 / L 39.5 cm, it holds a compact yet sturdy presence, equally at home as a single accent or in a row along a counter. Over time, the wood will develop a unique patina, and natural variations in the oil and grain ensure that no two pieces are entirely alike.

Designed by FRAMA Studio in 2020 and made in Latvia, Stool 01 reflects the brand's continued dedication to functional, material-driven design rooted in Nordic tradition. Daily care simply requires a soft cloth wrung out in clean water, avoiding chemical cleaners, followed by thorough drying to prevent streaks or scratches. Please note that due to its size and weight, this item ships on a pallet and requires an additional shipping fee, regardless of order total.
