Magic of rice paper realized in glass

With the Rituals collection, Ludovica and Roberto Palomba created a series of lamps that recall Eastern lanterns and the soothing light they emit. The magic of delicate rice paper was transferred to a glass version based on a thousand-year-old Venetian technique for manufacturing blown and frosted glass.

The striped effect on the Rituals pendant lamp is achieved using a mould with negative decorations, then this is ground by hand and worked with acid for the plaster-like look. This sophisticated and charming decor simultaneously helps filter the light intensity, spreading rich and warm light throughout the room.

The 3 Rituals pendant lights each have a different shape and size: Rituals 1 width 24cm and height 33cm, Rituals 2 width 34cm and height 19cm and Rituals 3 width 19cm and height 20cm. They are perfect for use alone or in harmonious compositions, from the dining room to the stairwell.

To combine some Rituals pendant lights in a simple and beautifully finished way, in a cluster or row, Foscarini has developed 3 multiple ceiling systems. This allows you to create compositions with the same type of Rituals pendant lamp or the 3 types together.
