Faro Orwell Dark Grey Outdoor Wall Lamp with Camera

The Faro Orwell is an outdoor wall lamp that does two jobs at once: it lights the way in, and it keeps an eye on it. A slim opal polycarbonate cylinder sits on a dark grey injected-aluminium body, and that body houses an integrated camera — so a single fixture replaces the usual lamp-plus-camera pairing beside a front door, a garage or a garden path.

Light comes from a built-in 13 W LED giving 480 lm, with an adjustable 3000-6500K colour temperature that runs from warm white for an evening entrance to crisp cool light when you want the drive or path clearly lit. The lamp is dimmable from 4 W / 95 lm up to full output, so the same fixture can sit low as a night-time marker or run bright when someone is arriving.

The camera is set into the base of the housing, alongside a speaker and a microphone, and faces outwards across the approach to the door. It connects over Wi-Fi and is controlled from the Tuya app: live view, recordings, two-way audio, and the light's colour temperature and brightness. Because it shares the lamp's housing, there is one wall plate and one cable run instead of two, which keeps a facade clean.

Rated IP54, the Orwell is protected against rain on an exposed wall. The dark grey finish is the standard anthracite tone used across contemporary exterior ranges, so it sits naturally against render, brick, timber or aluminium joinery. Mounted vertically with the diffuser upwards, it gives a soft glow at the wall rather than a hard downward beam.

Ø 9 cm, 30 cm tall, projecting 12.7 cm from the wall. For entrances, porches, carports and garden walls where you want light and a camera in one piece rather than two, the Faro Orwell is a tidy, practical answer from a brand with a long track record in exterior lighting.
