Design House Stockholm Elsa Beskow Mug

Discover the charming world of the Elsa Beskow Mug by Design House Stockholm, a delightful piece of everyday tableware that brings storytelling and Scandinavian design together in one cup. Designed by Catharina Kippel, who has collaborated with Design House Stockholm since its earliest days, the mug reinterprets the beloved illustrations of Swedish children's book author Elsa Beskow. With warmth and gentle humour, Kippel captures the whimsical characters and natural motifs that have made Beskow's stories timeless favourites for generations.

Each mug is crafted from new bone china with an inglazed decal finish, ensuring the artwork remains vivid and durable through daily use. Practical as well as beautiful, it is both dishwasher and microwave safe, making it equally suited to your morning coffee ritual or a well-earned afternoon tea. The mug measures 9.5 cm in height with a diameter of 8 cm, and weighs a light 0.25 kg, fitting comfortably in hand while sitting nicely on any shelf or table setting.

Available in a wide range of motifs inspired by Elsa Beskow's cherished illustrations, each design offers its own distinct character and colour palette, allowing you to choose the story that speaks to you most. The mug also comes in two sizes, including a 40 cl option with a handle for easy, everyday enjoyment.

Produced in Thailand and first launched in 2013, the Elsa Beskow Mug is a wonderful addition to any kitchen or dining space, whether collected individually or paired with matching bowls and trays from the same charming series.
