Audo Copenhagen Wine Breather Carafe

The Wine Breather Carafe by Norm Architects transforms the simple act of wine enjoyment into a moment of refined elegance. Designed with minimalist sophistication, this mouth-blown glass carafe combines beauty with exceptional functionality, making it an essential addition to any wine lover's collection.

Using this innovative piece is remarkably simple: open a bottle of wine, place the Wine Breather over the bottleneck, and flip the entire carafe upside down. The wine flows through the integrated decanting unit and into the generously surfaced carafe, where it aerates naturally. Once aeration is complete, flip it back to return the wine to its original bottle. The result is wine with approximately ten times the oxygen exposure, enhancing flavor and aroma with every sip.

Crafted from premium mouth-blown glass, the carafe is available in two distinctive finishes: Clear Glass with a Steel Lid for a timeless aesthetic, or Smoked Glass with a Brass Lid for a contemporary edge. Both versions maintain the streamlined, elegant forms that define Norm Architects' design philosophy. The carafe holds one liter and measures 16.5 cm in diameter, making it both practical and visually striking on any table.

The Wine Breather Carafe exemplifies the studio's commitment to finding beauty in simplicity. With nothing more to add or subtract, this piece embodies the Scandinavian design ideology of timeless aesthetics and refined craftsmanship, proving that exceptional design enhances life's most cherished moments.
